Whitewater Springs is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, Texas Hill Country. From our development you are minutes of just about any activity anyone would desire. Hiking, camping, biking, fishing, scenic drives, hunting, lakes, boating, golfing, shopping, restaurants are just a few of the many things available.

Here is a small sampling of what the surrounding area has to offer.


Marble Falls

Founded in 1887 by General Adam R. Johnson and incorporated on May 18, 1907, Marble Falls is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on the Colorado River. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 6,077.

The city is nestled between five nearby lakes and offers an array of lake activities. You can also stroll through the main city center for great shopping and rich Texas history. Sample a wide variety of foods from local restaurants or sample wines from some of the finest wineries in Texas.

     


Burnet

Both the city and the county were named for David Gouverneur Burnet the first president of the Republic of Texas. The town was founded in March 1852 and boasts a population of 5,987 as of the 2010 census.

Burnet offers a wide range of activities such as golf, boating fishing, camping and sightseeing. It has also been listed as one of the top 10 areas in the country to retire. Try shopping at one of the many antique and gift stores surrounding the Courthouse on the Square.

     


Fredericksburg

The city was founded in 1846 and was named after Prince Frederick of Prussia after being settled by German immigrants. It still has a German flavor to the town today, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in Texas.

The Fredericksburg area offers more than 300 bed & breakfasts, guesthouses, guest ranches, and inns; over 70 restaurants and wineries; distinctive off-site venues; and some of the best one-of-a-kind shopping anywhere.
